Eurocars Crete: Car Rental Company for Adelianos Campos

You can pick up and return your Eurocars rental car for your holidays in Adelianos Campos in Crete at the airport of Heraklion or the airport of Chania, or at the ports of Heraklion, Rethymnon and Chania/Souda, or straight at your hotel in Adelianos Campos.

As you drive from Rethymnon on the Old National Road to the east in the direction of Heraklion, you pass the villages of Misiria and Platanias and come to Adelianos Campos.

But Adelianos Campos is not really a village. It does not have a village square, a church or a communal office, and it belongs to the postal area of Adele which is a village located slightly inland among the hills.

"Campos" means "plain", and Adelianos Campos is nothing more than the plains of the village of Adele. Over a distance of 2 km along the Old National Road, the big hotels of the region line up here, and thus Adelianos Campos is the largest hotel suburb of the city of Rethymnon.

Just behind the hotels is the sandy beach which is 2 km long as well, and else Adelianos Campos also has everything what you could need when being on the leave in Crete: restaurants, tavernas, bars, car rentals, jeweller shops, beach bars with and without swimming pools, two doctors offices, a pharmacy, watersport facilities and the Atlantis Diving Center.

In the numerous supermarkets you can also get flip-flops and sun hats, and more recently there are even some fur shops where the staff speaks Russian.

Tourism does however not proceed all year round in Crete, but only from April to October. During the winter, Adelianos Campos is largely like a morgue.

The sidewalks are not folded away, but very few enterprises remain open: the pharmacy, two doctors offices, one supermarket and the head office of the Eurocars Rent-a-Car Company.
